Siesta Key Chapel has nine ordained Deacons.  These men and women are dedicated to a ministry described as one of “sympathy, witness, and service after the example of Jesus Christ.”

The Deacons minister to those who are in need, to the sick, to the friendless, and to any who may be in distress both within and beyond the community of faith.  At the Chapel the Deacons provide:

·         Transportation to church activities and for special needs like doctor visits. 

·         Meals for those caught in special circumstances like illness. 

·         Visits to members who are housebound or in distress.

·         Audio tapes of worship services to those who cannot attend.

·         The Sacrament of Communion to those who are homebound.
