At Siesta Key Chapel worship is a joyful response to God’s goodness and love. In worship, we strive to glorify and praise God even as we seek wisdom for day to day living.
As a congregation, we enjoy the beauty and grandeur of traditional Christian worship and... we enjoy new innovations like Praise Singing. We realize that worship touches deep into the soul offering us the balance we need to “glorify God and enjoy Him forever” (The Westminster Catechism).

SUNDAYS
10:00 am Worship with Children's Sunday School
Adult Sunday School begins at 9:00am
The 10:00 service of worship includes a children’s sermon followed by KIDSHOP, a creative, delightful educational experience for children. A secure, quality Nursery is provided for infants and toddlers throughout the morning.
ADULTS will enjoy Sunday mornings’ 9:00 class led by Lin Hall, it uses a lively video and study guide.
Saturday Worship Schedule
Live @ the Chapel
Relaxed worship is offered every Saturday at 6pm in God’s Treehouse. The format is casual and contemporary with a focus on praise and worship. This service is suspended for the summer and will return on 9/7/2008
The Praise Team “Vision” provides the music and includes band members: Russell Robbins on lead guitar and vocals, Tanya Pecsenye on keyboard and vocals, Ben Abdallah on bass guitar, John Maddox on drums, Tyler Bazenas on guitar and vocals and Maggie Sumney, Sandy Robbins and Daphne Bazenas as vocalists. John Hart provides our expert sound board mixing and audio set up.
Relaxed worship is interactive, Biblically based and spirit-filled. The service includes a weekly opportunity to celebrate the Lord’s Supper together. Our nursery is available and staffed for this worship service.
Warm fellowship and fresh snacks are offered each week. Relaxed worship is being developed to help Siesta Key Chapel reach those in our community who prefer an alternative service which offers an easily understood, positive message along with a music that has a more “light rock” feel to it.
We are seeking to attract new people of all generations who are more comfortable worshiping in a less formal environment.
Relaxed worship congregants participated in “Operation Christmas Child,” a collection for “Heifer International,”adopted a struggling family for Christmas, the Souperbowl of Caring and the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
GOT KIDS?
A secure, quality Nursery is provided Sunday mornings from 8:45 through 12 noon when we offer two worship services. When we offer one service, nursery care is available from 9:45-11:15 a.m.. Parents of nursery children are given a pager in case staff need to contact parents.
Children's Sunday School is offered with the 2nd worship service only when we have two worship services. The children and youth begin the morning in the Sanctuary and leave following the children’s sermon. Youth may remain in the worship service or go to a youth Sunday School class.
All nursery staff and Sunday school teachers are background screened. Parents are welcome to visit the nursery or classrooms. They may also remain with their child if needed. Children are also welcome to remain in the worship service. |
